Ben Reed
 BEN REED has mixed cocktails all over the world. In 1997 he was named Cocktail Bartender of the Year in a competition sponsored by Absolut Vodka. Former bar manager of the Met Bar, Londons most fashionable cocktail venue, Ben left to set up and run Woodys, also in London. He has made several TV appearances and starred in the series Shaker Maker for the BBC. He had a regular column, Barfly, in The Times Magazine and was a consultant for Hollywood Cocktails. His first book, the phenomenally successful Cool Cocktails, has been an international bestseller. His other books for Ryland Peters & Small include Shots, The Art of the Cocktail, The Cocktail Hour, Martinis, Margaritas, Sunshine Cocktails and Hangover Cures.
