About the Authors
Ann Brownfield
 Ann Brownfield began her career in publishing, advertising and design. She now works as an illustrators agent. Her love of collecting costumes and jewellery, inspired by films and photography from the 1940s and 1950s, began at art college and now extends to the markets of Paris and the south of France. She is the co-author, with Jane Cassini, of Vintage Inspirations (Ryland Peters & Small).

Jane Cassini has had a career encompassing many aspects of design, from typography to textiles. She worked in publishing as a book designer and illustrator, and in advertising as an art buyer. More recently her work has appeared in Homes & Gardens and Country Living. She is the co-author, with Ann Brownfield, of Vintage Inspirations (Ryland Peters & Small).
