MARTIN BRIGDALE has been a food photographer for more than 20 years. He has taken the photographs for over 30 cookbooks and has won awards in Britain, France and the USA, including three Glenfiddichs, a Julia Child, a Prigueux and a Gourmand Award. Although photography is his chosen profession, he is an enthusiastic amateur cook. For Ryland Peters & Small he has photographed Bread: from Ciabatta to Rye, Afternoon Tea, Chocolate, Coffee Indulgences, Edible Gifts , Bistro, Tagine, Spanish Country Kitchen, Eating Outdoors, Classic Tarts and Burgers.
